What Is It ?
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a form of medicine which slowly re-balances the body with the knowledge gained from over 2000 years of practical use. Two forms of TCM are acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Over the centuries, TCM has been adapted to tackle the evolving forms of disease, be it from the enviroment and / or from the lifestyles we lead today.
What Is Acupuncture ?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into the skin to stimulate acupuncture points which are specifically located along channels of energy which flow along the skin. There are over 300 of these points on the body and the insertion of the needle is shallow and should not be painful (no greater than plucking hair from your skin). It has become recognised by western doctors and many therapists ( after little training ! ... sad ) try to use it as part of their therapy.
